Stonehill College recently named the following local residents to its Dean's List for the Fall 2013 semester.

Ithaca College congratulates more than 1,400 students who made the Dean's list in the fall 2013 semester.

Area students were recently named to the President's List for outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2013 semester at SUNY Canton. "Congratulations to our President's List students for the Fall Term 2013! The Provost, deans, faculty and I are very proud of the way you applied your best efforts to the semester's coursework," said SUNY Canton Acting President Joseph C. Hoffman. "The work ethic and the enthusiasm for learning you develop here at the College will serve you well in your professional careers after graduation." To receive President's List honors, full-time students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

A total of 153 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost's List honors for the fall 2013 semester. To qualify for the Provost's List, students must earn a perfect 4.0 GPA while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

A total of 1569 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2013 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Several local students were recently named to the Deans' List at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY for the Fall 2013 academic term. Each fall and spring term, the college's Deans' List honors those students who have a term grade point average between 3.0 and 3.5. Local students include:

McDaniel College students perform in the Gospel Choir Concert on Sunday, December 8, 3 p.m., in McDaniel's WMC Alumni Hall located at 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. It is free and open to the public. McDaniel College's Gospel Choir, under the direction of Shelley Ensor, music lecturer, performs an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary, and "out of the box" gospel music, featuring musical arrangements ranging from Kirk Franklin and Donnie Harper to Earth, Wind & Fire and John Lennon. The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 851 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2013 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by Interim President Dr. Dennis L. Hefner.

The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., today announced that 812 students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2013 semester. Full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail are eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List.
